Creamy Lemon Dessert Sauce

I was sitting here in front of my computer, wondering what I should blog about next. ¬†We’ve eaten some yummy stuff the past couple weeks, and I want to share it all with you. ¬†But I couldn’t decide where to begin. ¬†Then I realized what I was spooning into my mouth while I was pondering.

This Creamy Lemon Dessert Sauce.

Which could be a great accompanying sauce for so many things. ¬†Angel food¬†cake (that’s what I made with it). ¬†Scones. ¬†Muffins. ¬†Gingerbread. ¬†There are so many possibilites.

And yet, my favorite way to eat it is with a spoon right out of the bowl.  I think lemon zest and freshly squeezed lemon juice is addicting.  Oh my.

So what will you serve this dessert sauce with?
