Cinnamon Toast
Let the record show that up until last weekend I have always made cinnamon toast the wrong way (according to Pioneer Woman, at least). Ā I always thought my way was the only way to make it, but in a recent post on her blog, she described four different ways to make this simple breakfast treat, and my way, well, is plain gross.
Just so you know (because we all know you’re wondering) my way used to entail toasting the bread in a toaster, then buttering the bread and sprinkling with cinnamon and sugar. Ā I didn’t see a thing wrong with it…but I also never knew I couldĀ caramelizeĀ the flavors and even add another dimension of flavor to my cinnamon toast…vanilla.
So I tried it Pioneer Woman’s way. Ā And it’s pretty stinkin’ good. Ā I betcha I’ll make it again her way.
So how do you make your cinnamon toast?

- Place toast on a cookie sheet. Place cookie sheet into the oven and bake for 10 minutes. Then turn on the broiler and broil until golden brown and bubbling. Watch so it wonāt burn! This part won\'t take long.
