Buttered Rosemary Rolls

Need an easy, delicious bread to go alongside, well, just about any dinner you’re serving this Christmas season?  I’ve got you covered.  This recipe for Buttered Rosemary Rolls only required four ingredients and minimal effort.  We’ve had them a few times these last couple weeks and they’re always a big hit when I bring them to the table.  And I feel like I basically did nothing.  Nice.

They’re on the menu for us for our big Christmas Eve dinner…along with Pot Roast, Creamy Mashed Potatoes and Green Bean Casserole, because I like to make my husband smile.

So what’s on your menu for Christmas?

Buttered Rosemary Rolls

recipe from Pioneer Woman
  • Ready in 0 Minute.
  • Frozen, Unbaked Dinner Rolls (I used Rhodes)
  • Melted Butter
  • Fresh Rosemary, Coarsely Chopped (or dried if you\'re like me and sometimes have issues paying for the fresh stuff)
  • Kosher Salt
  • Spray a baking dish with cooking spray. Place frozen rolls in the dish, leaving plenty of room for rising. Cover and allow to rise for several hours.
  • After rising, carefully brush rolls with melted butter.
  • Sprinkle on chopped rosemary. Brush with additional butter. Sprinkle with Kosher salt.
  • Bake according to roll package directions (usually 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes), until rolls are a deep golden brown on top.
  • Brush rolls one more time with butter and serve.
